Please keep in mind that technique is something dancers work on throughout their entire career. We are trying to place dancers in a level where they can work on the details needed to succeed at a pace that suits their movement abilities. In the words of the infamous dancer and choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov, "Fundamentals are the building blocks of fun." Do not be discouraged by placement. Levels are temporary, but good technique is a constant learning.
